In a large mixing bowl add yeast and brown sugar.
Pour warm water into mixing bowl with yeast and sugar.
Allow yeast to bloom 5 minutes.
Stir in melted butter, and slowly add flour until dough ball starts to form.
Knead dough for 8 minutes, folding in cheddar and jalapeños.
When your dough is nicely kneaded, place in large greased bowl. Cover and set aside to rise for an hour or until doubled in size.
Remove dough from bowl and punch down. Divide dough into 12 sections, roll into pretzel shape. Set aside.
